Police have arrested a 20year-old man suspected of helping to kill a newspaper photographer, the Sinaloa state attorney general's office says. In a news release issued late Monday, the agency said that farm laborer Abraham Ernesto Cedaño accompanied the man who killed photographer Gregorio Rodríguez on Nov. 28 in the northwestern town of Escuinapa.
Attorney General Óscar Fidel González said his office also has sought arrest warrants for those suspected of ordering the killing and of carrying it out, though he did not name them.
Police said several armed men shot Rodríguez as he was dining with his wife and sons, ages 3 and 6, in a community cafeteria.
He worked at El Debate, a newspaper with editions in the Sinaloa capital of Culiacan as well as the Pacific Coast resort city of Mazatlan.

LOCAL TRACK TO BE ADJUSTED FOR NASCAR .
The track for NASCAR's first race in Mexico next year will be shortened to allow the Busch series cars to manage the tough braking on the Hermanos Rodríguez road course.
A new curve on the main straightaway and a new curve on the second straightaway will cut the track length from 4.4 kilometers (2.7 miles) to four kilometers (2.5 miles) for the March 6 race.
