For world-wide living standards, Mexico sits at number 32, according to a quality of life survey published by the British newsweekly The Economist. The study of 111 countries takes into account factors such as per capita income, health, freedom, employment, family life, climate, security and gender equality.
Mexico was the secondhighest country in Latin America, following Chile, which ranked 31st. Costa Rica, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Panama also placed in the top 50.

FOX WILL MEET WITH BUSH IN SANTIAGO .
The Foreign Relations Secretariat confirmed Wednesday that President Vicente Fox will meet with his U.S. counterpart George W. Bush on Sunday in Santiago, Chile.
The meeting will last about 45 minutes, and the topic of discussion have yet to be defined, the secretariat reported in a press release.
Both will be attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum.
